Mission Statement
St. Mary's School exists to provide an educational setting in which the students will be encouraged to nourish their God-given curiosity in a way that will be informed by Catholic values. This means they will begin the formation of their character and their intellect in such a way that understands:
- that learning is a calling to be pursued throughout their lives
- that such learning exists as part of, rather than separate from, a growth in faith; and
- that the school exists so that individuals may be responsive to the call of the Gospel to live a life of service to others, in the Church, and in the world.
Although St. Mary's is a Roman Catholic school, it is open to those who are willing to share its values and its educational philosophy. Recognizing that, whatever the role of the school, parents are the primary educators of children, St. Mary's School encourages the active engagement of parents in its work.
